This policy covers this website only. It does not describe the Alfred product, which is in development and will have its own documentation before any paid install — the designed product model is summarised on privacy & control.
Who we are
Alfred (the "we" in this document) is a pre-launch software project based in Cork, Ireland. Contact: hello@alfred-privateos.com.
What we collect
- Details you submit through the reservation, investor, newsletter or contact forms — name, email, and whatever context you choose to write.
- Essential technical data needed to serve the site securely, such as request logs held by our hosting provider.
- Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. Decline and none are set.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to hold your reservation, to send the build notes you asked for, and to keep the site working. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train models.
Legal basis
Consent for marketing emails (withdrawable at any time, one click), and legitimate interest for replying to enquiries and operating the site securely.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and reservations: while relevant to the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete anything at any time and we will.
Processors
The site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, and form submissions are handled by an email and CRM provider. [SET: name the specific providers once connected.] Each acts on our instructions under a data-processing agreement.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email us and we'll action it. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
